My Learnings from Coach Honey

Day 1 of my internship turns the simplest for it is the only introduction to the freelance carrier. And here it comes day 2 it is our first day in Medical web research, it was fine, it taught us how to find the right keyword in Google. That day Google is our best friend. Finding the right word was not easy but with the help of coach Han, I understand one by one. On day 3 coach Han allowed us to present the given task to us on how to research on google to find the related keyword. after web research, I proceeded to General Virtual Assistant training. I learned how to make an email signature so it will look professional when sending emails. I know how to sort my emails, and how to manage my time/calendar. And as she said it will be hands-on training so will know what the job of becoming a virtual assistant is. I learned how to navigate wix.com. She gave us a task as a group to create our landing page. it is my wish to know how to create my website and with coach Han, she gave opportunity how to create one. As a group I am very glad to meet my team, all of us are responsible to do our landing page. Each one of us participate and its a success because we did it.

On April 22 when I saw coach Han's post offering mentorship with hands-on training at first I was a little hesitant to join because there's much mentoring emerging in online site. I chit-chat coach, here I am enrolled in her class. She's really passionate about her job in helping freshers like me in this kind of carrier. She is strict implementing rules in class but for me its quite effective because you all strive to do your task excellently.

Highly recommended to newbies like me. Coach Han will assist you one by one on how to understand the process of how jump-start your freelance carrier. As a newbie like me, I have started with little knowledge now I can apply what I have learned in her class. I can apply for jobs because I have additional learnings. I know it is my stepping stone in creating my journey as a freelancer, would say it walks through my success. When you enroll in her training I can say it was dense, shaky overflowing learning you'll get. "COMING TOGETHER IS A BEGINNING. KEEPING TOGETHER IS PROGRESS. WORKING TOGETHER IS SUCCESS."

My Learnings From Coach Honey

When I was browsing on Facebook looking at other Training Agencies, I saw coach Honey’s comment on a post that I have been reading. I contacted her and asked about what her program is. I was amazed by her program and what she could teach me. At that time, I was undergoing Social Media Marketing training at another agency. I only learned the basics and had no follow-up support from the coaches which is why I am looking for other alternatives. I enrolled in her program and on the 1st day of training, which is Web Research, I literally learned a lot from her. I can say that she is really focused on wanting us to learn and teach us what she knows.

General Virtual Assistant or GVA is the next course after Web Research. This course has a lot of topics. Email management, calendar management, web development, appointment setting, and many more. This is my first time learning about GVA and really learned a lot from coach Honey. She even gave us an activity to create a website and it is very challenging and knowledgeable as well. Coach Honey is very strict when it comes to passing the activities on time. Because she always tells us that we should think of her as our client, not our coach. She’s already practicing our skills through the activities that she’s given us.

Being a freelancer is complicated because of the different niches that you have to learn and the competition is very high. Nowadays, if you want to be a freelancer, you have to have skills. Not just basic skills, but skills that are competitive enough to impress clients. In my experience as being coach Honey as my mentor, she can unlock one’s potential in different niches in so many ways.

Now that we are almost at the end of our training, I can say that coach Honey helped me boost my skills, confidence, and self-esteem. She is the mentor that I was looking for.

My Learnings

Being a working Mom is hard. You need to manage your time to take care of your child and at the same time, you have to work to provide for the needs of your child. For house-makers like me looking to contribute to the household budget while balancing the roles of mothers and wives, freelancing can be the answer you are looking for.

I've watched a lot of testimonies or life stories of freelancing moms on how it changed their lives. And it gave me hope that I can also do this job and enjoy what they have, but I don't know how to start my journey as a freelancer. I've browsed lots of websites and watched a lot of videos about it. Also, I've seen a lot of community that offers freelance courses but are expensive. Then someone commented on my post on a community page that she has a community that can help me start my career, and she was Coach Honey. Then I found out that her courses are much cheaper than those that I've seen.

Finally, I decided to enroll in her community. And I've never regretted doing it. the first course is web research, I thought it was easy but it's not. you need to be detail-oriented and google has to be your best friend. It has the rule to follow in terms of medical research. You will know how to properly search for the topics with the right keywords to use. at the end of the lesson, you will need to do a task wherein the knowledge that you got during the lesson has to be applied. you need to do it right so that you will earn your certificate and move on to another course.

The second course is a general virtual assistant. With this, different niches are introduced. Then we are taught how to sort emails, made email signatures so that your email will look professional, and also modify calendars. And we are doing a landing page now. I know that there are still a lot of incoming learnings because we have a lot of courses that need to take. And for sure I will win clients because of this community and for that, I am very thankful to Coach Honey for introducing her community to me.
