Before I started the training, I was already hired from one of the clients in Upwork. But even though I was already hired, I still wanted to proceed with the training. The first day was very informative, I learned a lot about Freelancing. I build up my confidence and helped me with my profile in Upwork. Day 2, it was about web research training. But I was not able to attend due to technical issue. For Day 3, I answered the task being asked however I did not get it right due to lack of knowledge from the second day.

I enrolled for the General Virtual Assistant (GVA). I was able to attend the training while working for my clients. On day 1, I learned how to add an email signature, modify my calendar and sort out my emails. This was very helpful and having an email signature looks more professional. Modifying my calendar helped me with organizing what I need to do so I would not forget them. It took me a while to sort out my emails since I have not done it before. It is so much easier to find the email I need and sorting it looks much better. It got my interests all fired up so I attended day 2. I focused and absorbed the information about what are the other types of Virtual Assistants. It gave me a broader mindset on what I want to have as my niche. I realized that this is the kind of work setup I want. I could still do other things while not leaving my job unattended. Now, the final day of GVA gave us a chance to exercise our skills on how to help our potential future clients.
RECOMMEND FOR NEWBIES:
I resigned from my work since we are required to work at the office. I realized that I missed a lot of time spent with my kids. So, I decided to try working from home and Online Freelancing. I enrolled at The Filipino Freelancers' Network since they offer affordable rates. I also want to know more about freelancing and build up my confidence. I am tenured at BPO industry but I am a newbie in freelancing. Our coach gives us advice on how to sell our skills and how to help our clients as well as earn income in the comfort of our home. The FFN trains us, and builds our character at an affordable price. Other Freelance training spends thousands but only trains you what you need to do. Knowledge would be useless without confidence and this training site does a good job of bringing out the best in you.
